Wenz 1919: A MIWE oven with a nostalgic look

Originally intended only as an eye-catching attraction and a high-capacity fresh baking station for the MIWE customer area at the iba 2006, the MIWE condo, Wenz 1919, has meanwhile proven to be in great demand thanks to the original front of the old German wood baking oven. Exactly this combination leads many bakers to view this as a perfect instrument for a harmonious baking in the presence of customers. Behind the authentic baking oven door - authentic because it is made from the same casting moulds as the true AHO-produced door - a modern MIWE condo is performing its job - electrically controlled with the whole flexibility and performance of this deck baking oven. The nostalgic outfit effectively emphasizes what many bakers wish to show their customers: In this store, baking is performed by every trick in the book of classic baking art. The by all means heavy baking oven door - like the original - can be opened easily due to the chain-operated loading door with chain hoist and balance weights. By the way, it will continue to do so for years to come - as it is, contrarily to the standard would-be nostalgic doors, made of sheet steel and lacquer - and does not turn unsightly within the shortest time with traces of use, but quite the contrary even gains authenticity as a result.

The Wenz 1919 is only available with two hearths for sheet dimensions 60 x 80, and hearth passage height 19 cm. The baking oven is principally and fully fixed onto rollers with which it can easily be rolled into an adequate alcove. The control unit (a MIWE FP) is specially provided with a long cable in order to be placed separately at a distance or laterally from the oven.

If instead of the Wenz 1919 you prefer to start up a real artful old German wood baking oven out of chamotte bricks right away, you are also in good hands at MIWE, as the company in Arstein continues to care for the art of the classical baking oven construction.
